In case of severe,
cystic acne, see a dermatologist or a holistic
healer who specializes in skin health. They will prescribe
treatment that is best for you.
If your acne is mild
or moderate, you can try oral or topical* remedies
like the ones described below.
* Mild reactions (such as skin tingling)
may occur during the first week or so of use of any
topical remedy, as your skin may need time to get used
to it. If the mild reaction continues well past one
week, or if you experience a severe reaction, discontinue
the product, and consult an allergist. |
Timeless
Prescription PrevaDerm Anti-Blemish Formula is
a supplement that enhances your body’s natural
defenses against P. acnes, helps
detoxify your body of acne-causing impurities, has
anti-inflammatory effect on your
skin, thus reducing its redness, and helps
repair skin cells. Like with any other supplement,
consult your doctor before you consider taking PrevaDerm.
There are no known side-effects to this product, however,
lactose-sensitive individuals and vegans should avoid it as
one of its active ingredients (lactoferrin) is derived from
milk.
The non-irritating, oil-free
Timeless
Prescription 3 Step Acne Care System leaves your
skin fresh and clean while addressing the three major causes
of acne.
• The cleanser renews
your skin by gently exfoliating dead skin cells, removing
dirt, oil and other impurities, and delivering benzoyl peroxide*
to eliminate P. acnes bacteria.
• The toner refreshes
your skin by deeply penetrating its pores to further remove
excess oil.
• The lotion repairs
your skin by keeping its pores free from excess oil and P.
acnes through the action of the time-released benzoyl peroxide*.
* Please note that benzoyl peroxide may bleach
towels, sheets and clothes. To prevent this, rinse the cleanser
off very carefully before drying your skin and try drying
with a disposable cotton pad instead of a towel (or use a
white towel). Also, avoid direct contact with items you don’t
want to get damaged until the lotion has completely dried.
The hypoallergenic, oil-free
Timeless
Prescription F.A.C.E. Pads remove dirt and oil
from your skin without drying it. They perform these three
major functions:
• The soft pads clear
away dirt and surface contaminants.
• The natural enzymes emulsify body
oils on the skin surface and in the pores, promoting
a healthy complexion and preventing P. acnes from getting
out of control.
• The zinc sulfate soothes
the irritated skin and promotes its healing.
F.A.C.E. stands for Facial Astringent Cleansing
Enzymes — although the pads can be used on your chest,
arms, back, and other areas, as well. You can use the pads
to cleanse your entire face and neck, or to treat exclusively
the acne-affected spots.
There is also Timeless
Prescription Anti Blemish Lotion. It is meant for
overnight use on the affected spots only. It is alcohol based,
so avoid it if your skin is very sensitive.
