So you want to get fit but are having trouble
staying motivated… Try creating an exercise routine
that fits your style!
Choose exercises you enjoy
doing. If you detest a particular exercise, skip it.
Exercise isn’t meant to be a punishment, it’s
supposed to enhance your life.
Program your mind to desire
exercise. Just before you fall asleep each night (or
day, as the case may be), imagine yourself exercising after
you get up and really enjoying it. Feel the good vibes this
will create for you, and the overall sense of happiness and
satisfaction. This will help you wake up looking forward to
your exercise session.
Prepare your workout gear
before you go to bed. Put your exercise clothes where
you’ll see them. When you get up, just put them on right
away and get moving. This habit will make exercise become
a normal part of your day that you won’t want to live
without.
Don’t overthink it.
Don’t give yourself any time to wonder whether you feel
like exercising or not. Instead, just do it! You’ll
be all done before you know it, and you’ll feel marvelous.
Vary your routine.
