“Does Your Dish Soap Make Your Hands Dry?
See How Snap Dishwashing Liquid
Can Keep Your Hands Silky Soft.”

Our Snap Dish Soap Story

Chuck and Magz, enjoying Snap brand dish soaps since 2004

As much as we try to avoid washing our dishes by hand, we can’t always escape that. There are times when we need that one special dish we used the day before, but it will be another day or so before we run the dishwasher. Also, some of our dishes are not dishwasher safe. Having a mild dish soap is important to us.

We’re thankful for Snap Dishwashing Liquid for two reasons:
      1. The aloe in it actually soothes our skin, leaving it nice and soft.
      2. It is extremely cost effective!

It’s such a pleasure to use this soap that we actually wash our hands with it, too, not just the dishes! In each bathroom, we keep a soap pump bottle that we fill with Snap Dishwashing Liquid. Especially Magz prefers it to bar soap.

Snap Dishwashing Liquid took some getting used to at first because the soap became very thin once we diluted it with water. At the beginning, we were spilling some each time we tried to use it, but after a few times we learned to tilt the bottle or press the pump just enough.

The ratio at which we dilute the soap is: 1 part soap, 5 parts water. It’s like getting six 32-ounce bottles of dish soap for the price of one! And even though the liquid is so diluted, we still only need a little bit of it to wash our dishes or hands.

Another thing we like about the Snap dish soap is that it’s very easy to rinse off. Most other soaps leave a film on your plates that needs to be rubbed off with some effort and lots of water. Here, because the solution is so thin, it rinses right off without any effort at all.

By the way, in our dishwasher, we also use a Snap product, and love every crystal of it. Snap Automatic Dishwashing Crystals are also very cost-effective. We use about half a tablespoonful, splitting it between the two detergent reservoirs in the dishwasher. Dishes come out clean and without any streaks.

We have a funny story about the Crystals. We were visiting a friend, and she was beaming about the great deal she just got on her dishwasher detergent at BJ’s. She showed us a box that was taking up almost half of the small cabinet under her sink. It contained 75 packets of dish soap, one packet per load. The look on her face was so precious when we told her about the Crystals. For the same price she’d be getting twice as many loads, and a container that’s less than a quarter the size!
